What changed, and when.
Every user-visible change, newest first. If something on this list is not working the way it says, tell us: support@vestapayments.com. Live system state is on the status page.
6 October 2026
Higher limit per payment
- A single payment can now be up to 60,000 USDC (was 500), so larger orders and long rentals paid up front fit in one payment link.

Status page, changelog, security contact
- A public status page reads the live system state — the network, the payment watcher, webhook deliveries — so you can check whether it is us or you.
- This changelog, so what changed is visible without asking.
- A standard security contact file at /.well-known/security.txt for researchers.
- The payment watcher now scans the network in smaller steps after the public Base node lowered its limit; nothing was missed.

Open-source contracts, continuity page, records export
- All three contracts are published in full under the MIT licence at /contracts, verified on Basescan, Blockscout and Sourcify.
- "What if Vesta disappears?" at /continuity: what happens to your money and records, with step-by-step instructions that need nothing from us.
- Download my records on the dashboard: every invoice, payment reference, deposit address and transaction hash as a spreadsheet.
- Webhooks now also send payment.expired when a link runs out unpaid.
- A daily operator digest so a quiet day is visibly quiet.
21 September 2026
Pay from an exchange, webhooks, alerts, videos
- Send from an exchange or any wallet: every payment link has its own address, so a customer can withdraw USDC on Base straight to it from Bybit, Binance, Kraken, OKX or Coinbase. No wallet app needed.
- Your payout wallet is no longer shown to customers.
- Webhooks: a signed message to your server when a payment is detected, confirmed, underpaid or mismatched, with automatic retries. Set up on the dashboard.
- The Vesta team is alerted automatically when something needs a human.
- Two short videos, for merchants and for customers, on the landing page and help pages.
- Wording on the site made stricter: "one key, and it cannot move money" rather than "no keys".
16 September 2026
Who we are, merchant guides
- /about names the operating company and lists everything a merchant can verify independently.
- Guides: getting started for merchants who never held crypto (/help/wallet), the merchant guide and the customer guide.
- Changing the payout wallet now takes effect after a 24-hour waiting period, with one-click cancel.
14 September 2026
First real payment
- The first live payment on Base mainnet was received and confirmed.
- Pay with Face ID / fingerprint: a wallet created in the browser on the spot, network fees sponsored by Vesta.
12 September 2026
Mainnet pilot
- Vesta moved from the Base Sepolia test network to Base mainnet with real USDC, as an invited-merchant pilot capped at 500 USDC per payment.
- Contract source verified on Basescan; trust strip on the landing page reads the contract live.
